**Job Summary**

Cutting Edge Landscaping Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the execution of various landscaping projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation of heavy equipment, including skid steers, excavators, forklifts, and backhoes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and daily checks on equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Coordinate with project managers, trucking department, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Recognize and adhere to safe operating procedures and proper training on equipment.
  • Operate company trucks with and without trailers, demonstrating responsible driving practices.
  • Perform various tasks, including maintenance on equipment and trailers, minor mechanical repairs, and reading and installing landscape plans.
  • Uphold our safety culture and safe work practices, completing required paperwork and participating in weekly meetings.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks such as grading soils and clay, loading and chaining down equipment, and effectively grading soils and clay.

Requirements:

  • Previous landscape construction experience.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Bend, rotate, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Class 5 Driver's Licence.
  • CSTS-2020.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.
