Job Title: Construction Labourer

Cutting Edge Landscaping Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting in the completion of various landscape construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the operation of heavy equipment, including skid steers, excavators, and forklifts.
  • Perform maintenance and daily checks on equipment to ensure proper working order.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in weekly meetings and complete required paperwork for our safety program.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including sod strippers, mechanical compaction equipment, and power tools.
  • Perform tasks such as maintenance on equipment and trailers, minor mechanical repairs, and reading and installing landscape plans.
  • Previous landscape construction experience and ability to lift 50lbs are required.
  • Class 5 Driver's Licence, CSTS-2020, and First Aid Certification are also necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous landscape construction experience.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Bend, rotate, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Class 5 Driver's Licence.
  • CSTS-2020.
  • First Aid Certification.
  • Steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves.

Please note that this is a labour-intensive position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.
