Work closely with our multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Assess and Manage Patient CareAssess the day-to-day care of patients, including writing medical orders, consultations with other services, and responding to changing patient conditions.
Develop and Implement Treatment PlansDevelop treatment plans in response to changing patient conditions, where appropriate and in consultation with attending staff.
Communicate EffectivelyCommunicate with patients, family members, other consulting services, and trainees concerning patient care plans, as appropriate.
Participate in Quality ImprovementParticipate in quality improvement projects relating to patient care and program development.
Requirements- Medical Degree
Hold a medical degree from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.
Postgraduate TrainingHave a minimum of two (2) years of accredited postgraduate training as a medical or surgical specialist, verified by the CPSBC.
Registration and CertificationBe eligible for registration with the CPSBC in the Associate Physician class, under sponsorship by Fraser Health Authority.
Language ProficiencyMeet the CPSBC's English language proficiency requirements.
