Part-time Mental Health Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Psychiatrist to join our team at the Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing mental health services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric services to clients in a part-time capacity (21 hours/3 days per week)
- Work collaboratively with a team-based care model, including community partners and primary care
- Support educational activities and participate in academic teaching appointments (asset)
- Utilize a hybrid model of in-person and virtual service delivery
- Meet the requirements for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Have experience in psychiatric specialties (adult psychiatry, addictions, serious and persistent mental illness)
- Commit to community-based services
- Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to social and cultural diversity
- Be proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and various database software
- Hold a valid driver's license and own transportation
