We are seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join our team at Martindale Medical Clinic. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of patient care and a commitment to promoting health and wellness within the community.
Qualifications- Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is essential.
- Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years in a relevant medical field is preferred.
- Gather and analyze medical histories from patients.
- Assist patients in cultivating healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatment plans.
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations.
- Provide guidance on health-related matters.
- Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Deliver emergency medical care when necessary.
- Certification from the College of Family Physicians (CCFP).
- Valid licensure from provincial or territorial medical authorities.
- Must possess strong attention to detail.
- Ability to engage in a mix of sitting, standing, and walking.
