Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at Excel Health Clinic. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough examinations, and developing treatment plans to address a wide range of health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Examination and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough physical examinations to identify diseases and injuries, and develop treatment plans to address patient needs.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, and collaborate with specialists as needed.
- Prescription and Administration: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, and provide patients with clear instructions on usage and dosage.
- Patient Education and Support: Advise patients on health care, provide counseling and support on health and lifestyle issues, and coordinate primary patient care.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Report births, deaths, contagious diseases, and other health-related incidents to government authorities, and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry from a recognized institution.
- Licenses and Certifications: Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), licensure by provincial or territorial authorities, and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II).
- Work Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on patient care and communication.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliable.
