Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Assistant to join our team at Oqianous Distribution Company LTD. As an Automotive Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to our mechanics and technicians in the garage, ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist mechanics and technicians with daily tasks, including moving tools and equipment, and cleaning machines and work areas.
  • Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public.
  • Help tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

The work environment is noisy and dusty, and the work setting is in a garage.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees.

Support for Youths
  • Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
