Actuarial Principal

At LifeWorks, we're empowering individuals to live their healthiest lives. As a Principal in our Defined Benefit Consulting practice, you'll leverage your expertise to develop strategic long-term plans for our clients' defined benefit pension plans.

1. Pension Plan Advisory: Provide proactive consulting services, delivering integrative solutions and overseeing all aspects of client service, including quality of service provided by all LOBs.
2. External Market Presence: Promote and maintain visibility in the industry, delivering presentations at conferences or workshops on topical matters related to retirement plans and pension risk management.

1. 15+ years of experience in defined benefit pension plan consulting.
2. Solid understanding of pension legislation and actuarial standards of practice within the public and private sectors, including risk assessment, financial projections, and pension plan valuation.
3. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, financial markets, and industry developments and emerging trends related to the pension industry.
4. Proven leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of mathematical models and statistical analysis.
