Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Port Crane Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance and inspections on various types of port equipment, including cranes, gantries, and other machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on port equipment, including cranes, gantries, and other machinery.
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical problems on port equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of port equipment and its operation.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in port equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, preferably in a port or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including cranes, gantries, and other machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
