VCA Canada Animal Hospitals is currently recruiting for experienced Veterinarians to join our team of caring veterinary professionals across Canada. We have hospitals situated in diverse and vibrant locations across Canada, from bustling cities to tranquil rural towns, and scenic coastal areas to cozy suburbs. Our extensive geographic reach ensures that you can find the perfect location that aligns with your lifestyle and professional goals.

You will have completed a doctor of veterinary medicine from an accredited university

Opportunities for those who have completed a doctor of Veterinray medicine from an un accredited university including completion (or close to completion) of NAVLE and corresponding exams.

3 years minimum experience working in a hospital and managing patient appointments.

New graduates welcomed in specific hospitals throughout Canada.

Working with patients and their owners; wellness exams, vaccines, surgical procedures, dental procedures, nutrition, skin related ailments, infections, mobility issues and end of life care and support.

Managing 15 to 20 min appointments with the support of a technician/technologist, technician assistants and front desk veterinary professionals. 

Genuine passion for veterinary medicine and for our furry friends

Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices – you understand the importance of your tech assistants, animal care attendants and veterinary technicians and treat all with respect and genuine care. 

Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents and community.
