Lok Awaaz Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including payroll taxes and other tax-related documents.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
- Security Clearance: Basic security clearance.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a seated position for extended periods.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
