About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at AnyDay Plumbing & Renos. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to construction and renovation, including preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, and building foundations and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for construction and renovation projects
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fabricate and install cabinets, countertops, and other woodwork
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial properties
  • Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Trade certification in carpentry or equivalent experience
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) training and certification
  • Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
