Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Foreman/Woman to join our team at Dynamic Freight Haulers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Plans

Create and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize warehouse operations.

Coordinate Logistics

Organize and coordinate the operational logistics of the organization, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.

Manage Inventory

Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and easily accessible.

Supervise and Train Staff

Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.

Coordinate Maintenance and Repair

Coordinate maintenance and repair work to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Requisition and Order Supplies

Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support warehouse operations.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees

Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.

Support for Youths

Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

Support for Indigenous People

Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Work Language

English.

Work Term

Permanent.

Hours

30 to 40 hours per week.
