As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Operational Plans
Create and implement specific plans to prioritize tasks and optimize warehouse operations.
Coordinate LogisticsOrganize and coordinate the operational logistics of the organization, including the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
Manage InventoryOrganize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all stock is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
Supervise and Train StaffSupervise and train warehouse staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Coordinate Maintenance and RepairCoordinate maintenance and repair work to ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
Requisition and Order SuppliesRequisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support warehouse operations.
Additional Responsibilities- Support for Newcomers and Refugees
Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Support for YouthsProvide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous PeopleProvide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Work LanguageEnglish.
Work TermPermanent.
Hours30 to 40 hours per week.
