Technical Trainee Opportunity

Engineered Air, a leading manufacturer of custom Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning units, is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our design, manufacturing, service, or sales teams. As a Technical Trainee, you will have the opportunity to rotate throughout our company in various manufacturing and design modules, gaining a broad knowledge of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of equipment performance data and specifications.
  • Detailed mechanical layout of air handling units.
  • Special construction details.
  • Hydronic or gas piping schematics.
  • Electrical wiring schematics.
  • Complete description of control sequence of operation.

Requirements:

  • HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical degree/diploma preferred.
  • One to two years of related summer employment in design, production, or service experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge in HVAC and control systems, AutoCAD and MS Windows is desirable.
  • Ability to accept assignments on short notice and work within strict deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
