Join Our Geotechnical Engineering Team

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineering Intern to join our team at Arup. As a Geotechnical Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including tunnel design, foundation design, and geotechnical investigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design and analysis of geotechnical systems, including tunnels, foundations, and slopes.
  • Conduct geotechnical investigations, including site visits and data collection.
  • Develop and maintain geotechnical databases and models.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals, soil, and rock mechanics.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Evidence of past internship or extracurricular activity in the field.
  • Exposure and interest in programming languages, such as Python or Grasshopper.
  • Proven ability to perform in a deadline environment.
