Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) as a server platform, with experience in production-level software and hardware.
  • Manage network administration, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
  • Administer virtualized environments and monitor network/server systems using Nagios, Cacti, Zabbix, Prometheus, and other tools.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects during testing.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute tools and scripts for automation and self-service solutions in physical and virtual environments.
  • Knowledge of industry-standard protocols (TCP/IP, Apache, DNS, LDAP, etc.) and deployment automation.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.) and knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with web servers (Nginx, HAProxy) and databases (PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, Redis).
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and excellent communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of Server, Kubernetes, and Network issues.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

Bonus Experience:

  • Certification in RHCE, Openstack, VMware, or CCIE.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Experience with AWS and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
