Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns and establish work schedules.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
