At Lundbeck, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neurology Specialist to join our national sales team. As a Neurology Specialist, you will play a critical role in promoting our neurology products and services to healthcare professionals and relevant clinics.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve territory sales objectives for all Lundbeck promoted products in neurology.
- Develop and implement business plans to maximize selling efforts and optimize growth opportunities in your territory and nationally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including doctors, nurses, and business partners, to identify their needs and inform them about Lundbeck's high-quality products.
- Collaborate with sales team members and other departments to offer tailored solutions and maximize neurology product potential and sales.
- Manage activity territory budget to optimize reach and targeted customer interaction.
- Prepare and analyze each visit and call to move customers along the adoption ladder.
- Effectively implement needs-based, certified programs and other learning activities to optimize impact.
- Work closely with the Medical Science Liaison and Medical Education teams to identify educational opportunities and develop advocacy in your territory.
- Use the CRM system to ensure that field activities are captured and documented.
- Use the sales and performance report system to optimize your performance across the territory.
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or business administration.
- A minimum of five years of sales experience in the Canadian pharmaceutical industry, preferably with experience in neurology or two years with experience in neurology.
- Mastery to present scientific data on product with clarity using promotional tools and approved clinical trials.
- Proven track record of promoting products and managing clients in a knowledge-intensive sector; experience working with neurologists an asset.
- Strong business acumen and business analytical skills.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Familiar with the use of technology, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Must have a valid driving license in Canada.
- Normal working hours.
- Evening/Weekend commitments: No.
- % of travel required: 10-40%.
