About the Role

FNX-INNOV is seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Inspector to oversee the execution of urban and road infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all work adheres to the highest quality standards and safety regulations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of safety by encouraging stakeholders to strictly adhere to site safety protocols.
  • Meticulously monitor each stage of construction, collaborating with contractors to guarantee the quality and accuracy of their work.
  • Demonstrate your expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications, identifying any discrepancies between plans and actual construction progress.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to confirm it meets established industry standards and project requirements.
  • Verify the quantities of completed work to provide accurate recommendations for payment processing.
  • Prepare comprehensive daily progress reports, documenting key milestones and any challenges encountered.
  • Contribute your expertise to other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Your Profile

  • Possess a college diploma in civil engineering.
  • Bring a minimum of 10 years of proven experience in monitoring urban and road construction projects.
  • Hold STC-201 and STC-102 signalization training certifications (considered an asset).
  • Exhibit exceptional report writing skills and the ability to effectively collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD software (an asset).
  • Hold a valid driver's license and ASP construction card.
  • Be familiar with MTQ monitoring practices and standards.
  • Maintain fluency in French (both written and spoken).
