Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Chilliwack General Hospital. As a Relief Part Time LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  2. Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and promoting independence.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare teams.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care transitions and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, education sessions, and team conferences to enhance patient outcomes and staff development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
