Canonical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Partner Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with Global System Integrators (GSIs) and driving the sales of our Ubuntu-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with GSI partners, understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with GSI partners, leveraging your expertise in open source technologies and cloud solutions.
  • Partner Enablement: Work closely with the marketing and sales engineering teams to develop and deliver training and enablement programs for GSI partners.
  • Executive Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with GSI partner executives, providing strategic guidance and support to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a strong background in alliance management and business development.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of open source technologies, cloud solutions, and Linux ecosystems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze complex business problems and develop creative solutions.
