JOB SCOPE

We are in search of highly skilled Mobile Service Technicians dedicated to delivering an unparalleled mobile service experience. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your expertise to perform a comprehensive range of automotive services and mechanical repairs from our Mobile Service fleet at customer-selected locations. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $120,000, with tools provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess scheduled tasks, determine root causes, and confirm parts availability.
  • Ensure service vehicles are equipped with necessary parts and tools for repairs.
  • Adhere to planned routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
  • Deliver exceptional mobile service, meeting and exceeding customer service KPIs.
  • Educate customers on technical aspects and general vehicle usage.
  • Conduct repairs including, but not limited to, interior component replacements, general maintenance, charging issues, trouble code analysis, and fluid replenishments.
  • Complete service repair orders and confirm electronic payment from customers.
  • Coordinate with Service Centre staff for follow-up on unexpected changes or additional repairs.
  • Comply with all safety protocols and VinFast repair guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with VinFast policies and local regulations.
  • Operate and care for various hand, power, and shop tools, as well as mobile service vehicles.
  • Keep the mobile service vehicle clean and operational.
  • Document time, expenses, and materials accurately.
  • Support Service Centre locations as needed and assist with offsite events.
  • Collaborate with Service Centre teams to achieve performance KPIs.
  • Engage in continuous education and training opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on service procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a preference for experience in electric vehicle brands.
  • Valid 310S License (or equivalent).
  • Clean driver's license and driving record.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in English [and French in Quebec].
  • Technical engagement with customers is essential.
  • Passion for Electric Vehicles and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally outside the servicing area.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components; previous Electric Vehicle experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with EV systems and diagnostic tools.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management abilities.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and results-driven mindset.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
