POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking highly skilled Mobile Service Technicians to provide an outstanding mobile service experience. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for executing a variety of automotive services and mechanical repairs using our Mobile Service fleet at locations convenient for our customers. The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $120,000, with tools provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess scheduled tasks, identify issues, and verify parts availability.
- Ensure service vehicles are equipped with necessary parts and tools for repairs.
- Adhere to planned routes and maintain punctuality.
- Deliver exceptional mobile service, aiming to exceed customer satisfaction metrics.
- Educate customers on vehicle functionality and maintenance.
- Conduct a variety of repairs including interior component replacements, general maintenance, diagnostics, and more.
- Complete service repair orders and confirm electronic payment from customers.
- Coordinate with Service Centre staff for follow-up on unexpected repairs.
- Comply with all safety protocols and VinFast repair guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the mobile service vehicle.
- Document time, expenses, and materials used during service.
- Assist Service Centre locations as needed and support offsite events.
- Collaborate with Service Centre teams to meet performance targets.
- Engage in continuous education and training opportunities.
- Provide constructive feedback on service processes to enhance quality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, with a preference for experience in electric vehicle brands.
- Valid 310S License (or equivalent).
- Clean driver's license and driving record.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with customers in English (and French in Quebec).
- Passion for electric vehicles and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility for occasional overnight travel outside the service area.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Familiarity with EV systems and diagnostic tools.
- Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends.
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
