Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Assurance & Accounting team in our Sarnia office. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing year-end financial statements and tax returns for clients in a variety of industries
  • Performing audits and preparing working papers in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Building positive working relationships with clients and responding to their requests and suggestions
  • Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicating with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Engaging in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial analysis and reporting processes to improve client service and efficiency
  • Provide financial guidance and advice to clients on financial matters
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
  • Collaborate with other teams to deliver high-quality services to clients
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA designation
  • 3 years of external audit experience in the public accounting industry
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build positive relationships with clients
