Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Seniors Wellness division. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, including admission assessments and specialized seating and positioning assessments.
- Identify and recommend appropriate equipment needs, and consult with local vendors to facilitate trials and applications.
- Provide education and training to clients and their families on independence with activities of daily living, wheelchairs, and adaptive aids.
- Evaluate and monitor restraint use, wound prevention, falls, and injury prevention.
- Record assessment and treatment interventions in client charts, adhering to guidelines established by the College of Occupational Therapists.
- Registration with the Provincial Association of Occupational Therapists.
- Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
