Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated Investment Representative to become an integral part of our Contact Centre team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inquiries through various channels regarding Qtrade Direct Investing (QDI) products and services with efficiency, compliance, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Support clients by managing online trading order flow for self-directed accounts.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing issues and complaints by initiating investigations, documenting details, and coordinating with relevant departments for resolution.
  • Stay informed about market trends and news that may influence client investment decisions.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and actively participating in process enhancements.
  • Understand and apply departmental policies and procedures effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment influenced by market trends and client demands.
  • A positive mindset and eagerness to learn new skills to adapt to evolving responsibilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English is essential, while bilingualism in French is advantageous.
  • Preferred post-secondary education in business or economics, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is mandatory.
  • Completion of the Options Licensing Course and Derivatives Fundamentals Course is beneficial and required within six months of employment.
  • Three years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.
  • Recent securities registration as an Investment Representative is a plus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and hours is essential.
