Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering parts in a fast-paced setting
  • Build relationships with wholesale and retail clients both in-person and via phone
  • Understand customer requirements to help locate necessary parts or services and recommend related options
  • Monitor inventory levels, reorder supplies, and manage special orders as required
  • Support the Parts Manager in addressing discrepancies between the digital inventory and the physical stock
  • Gather necessary information for special orders and ensure accurate sourcing of parts. Attention to detail and multitasking are essential
  • Investigate the availability of specific parts, whether within the dealership or from external sources as needed
  • Become a vital member of a collaborative team that aims to provide the best experience for our Parts, Service, and Sales customers

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in an automotive dealership or Parts Department
  • Experience with FCA is preferred
  • Completion of a relevant post-secondary program or training courses is advantageous
  • Familiarity with CDK, Star Parts, and Multi-point systems is a plus
  • Strong understanding of Parts and Service operations and inventory management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • A professional individual with high integrity who is reliable and honors commitments
  • Detail-oriented, self-driven, and resourceful
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and MS Office applications
  • Capability to meet physical demands such as lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods
  • Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
