Job Title: IT Support Specialist

CIT Corp is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
  • Conduct thorough research and implement solutions to technical issues by consulting user guides, technical manuals, and other relevant documentation.
  • Offer expert advice and training to users to help them overcome technical difficulties and improve their overall technical proficiency.
  • Provide comprehensive business systems, network, and Internet support to users, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient data transfer.
  • Configure and set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in computer programming, computer science, or a related field, with a strong foundation in IT principles and practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Windows and computer systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in IT support or a related field, with a proven track record of success in resolving complex technical issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
Work Environment:
  • Full-time position, 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels.
