Position Overview

The Travellers Motel is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school education.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the cleaning or hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and manage cleaning personnel.
  • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct inspections of facilities to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Assist cleaning staff in their tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and implement work schedules for the team.
Support InitiativesNewcomers and Refugees
  • Provide assistance with immediate settlement needs for newcomers and refugees, including housing and transportation.
  • No prior Canadian work experience is necessary.
Youth Support
  • Facilitate training sessions to foster a welcoming environment for young employees.
Indigenous Peoples Support
  • Deliver cultural competency training to promote inclusivity for Indigenous workers.
Visible Minorities Support
  • Implement diversity training to create an inclusive workplace for visible minorities.
