Housekeeping Team Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Travellers Motel. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Coordinate Work Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of work activities and efficient use of resources.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with the settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing, transportation, and other essential services.
- Support for Youths and Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for youth and Indigenous workers.
- Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
Requirements: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field. English language proficiency is required.
Work Environment: 40 hours per week, permanent position.
