Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Branch Director to join our Wealth Management team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch, including sales management, human resource management, operations control, and supervision of compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee branch profitability and meet strategic targets through effective sales management, human resource management, operations control, and supervision of compliance.

  • Provide leadership and support to Investment Advisors and support staff in hiring, training, and motivating.

  • Assess performance, provide developmental opportunities, coaching, and feedback as required.

  • Promote the firm's corporate image by developing and maintaining business relationships throughout RBC Financial Group and within the community.

Requirements

  • CSC and CPH certifications, with the ability to complete the BM license within 3 months.

  • Retail Brokerage experience with a minimum of 2 years of Investment Advisor experience or similar experience.

  • Post-secondary education (college or university).

  • Proven experience in leading a team, coaching, and developing and motivating others.

  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with ambiguity and managing multiple operations and servicing activities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to engage a diverse team that includes branch staff, middle office, and internal and external partners.

  • Experience in managing multiple priorities and dealing with challenging and sometimes complex situations to drive success.

  • Decisive and results-driven.

Preferred Qualifications

  • RBC Dominion Securities experience.

  • WM Operations and Financial Industry background.
