Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operational leadership, you will provide guidance, assistance, and development to ensure a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business management teams and health and safety manager to implement and improve safety processes and systems.
- Provide coaching and guidance to operations on legislative and corporate safety requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with site management, employees, and local regulatory agencies.
- Participate in the execution and delivery of safety programs and communications.
- Assist with claims management and return-to-work processes.
- Develop and deliver safety-related training modules and programs.
- Collect, analyze, and distribute health and safety KPI information.
- Relevant university degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant safety or industry experience.
- Bilingual in French and English.
- CRSP designation an asset.
- Action-oriented.
