Job Overview: The Senior Vice President of Financial Operations will play a pivotal role within the executive team, concentrating on financial processes associated with SR&ED claims. Key responsibilities include overseeing financial documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and refining SR&ED claims. This position offers flexible working hours, making it ideal for professionals managing multiple responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and management of financial documentation for SR&ED claims.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams and writers to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
- Facilitate effective communication between financial operations and technical teams.
- Assist clients in collecting financial data and navigating the SR&ED claim process.
- Formulate strategies for precise and compliant financial reporting for SR&ED claims.
- Provide the CEO with strategic insights and updates regarding financial operations.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Significant experience in financial management, particularly in SR&ED claims or related areas.
- Comprehensive understanding of Canadian tax regulations and SR&ED program requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both financial and technical teams.
