Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern New Brunswick. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from obtaining quotes from sub-trades to ensuring timely and efficient project restoration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all components of projects, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely restoration processes
  • Coordinate project activities with insured individuals, clients, sub-trades, and other consultants
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring they are within target gross margin
  • Assist in the resolution of change requests, unforeseen incidents, and additional work
  • Perform periodic site inspections to ensure compliance with approved estimates
  • Coordinate the permit process, reviewing permit applications and received permits for accuracy
  • Prepare and maintain timely and accurate documentation, reports, and other materials
  • Track and review sub-trade quotes, estimates, changes, and requests for payment
Requirements
  • Minimum three (3) years of work experience in insurance restoration and/or construction estimating/project management
  • Strong management, delegation, planning, and leadership skills
  • Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent facilitation of meetings, feedback sessions, and briefings to create consensus among stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise necessary cost control measures
  • Effectiveness in the areas of construction safety and productivity
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to engage clients and deliver excellent service
  • Thorough decision-making skills
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrated sound work ethics
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

Education and Certifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Completion of a Construction, Building Technology Diploma or Engineering Degree
  • Technical Diploma Professional Engineer, C.E.T., Gold Seal Constructor or PMP
  • IICRC Certifications are considered an asset
Technical Requirements
  • Office Equipment (copiers, scanners, printers, faxes, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.), email, Xactimate, Xactanalysis
