Job Title: Foreign Exchange Teller

Currency Mart is seeking a skilled Foreign Exchange Teller to join our team. As a Foreign Exchange Teller, you will be responsible for performing foreign currency exchange, processing money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, and calculating daily/shift payments received and reconciling with total sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foreign Currency Exchange: Perform foreign currency exchange transactions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer transactions.
  • Payment Processing: Process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Financial Analysis: Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions, maintaining a secure and organized cash handling system.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail business or currency exchange environment.
  • Skills: MS Excel, MS Word, Interac machine, and computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system.
