Vets To Go is a compassionate and client-centered mobile veterinary service dedicated to providing high-quality care to pets in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to strengthen the bond between veterinarians, clients, and their beloved pets by delivering personalized care in a familiar environment.
Your Role as a Mobile VeterinarianAs a Mobile Veterinarian, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional veterinary care to companion animals (dogs and cats) directly in their homes. This unique opportunity allows for a flexible work schedule, balancing your professional life with personal commitments.
Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality and friendly veterinary care during in-home appointments, ensuring the safety of both yourself and the client.
- Provide a comprehensive range of services, including examinations, vaccinations, FNA procedures, small lump removals, blood/urine collection, suturing minor wounds, nail trims, home euthanasia, and other typical non-surgical services.
- Maintain meticulous record-keeping and follow-up to ensure every patient receives thorough and professional treatment. Clients will receive test results promptly, and options will be discussed and followed up on based on recommendations.
- Be punctual, professional, friendly, and collaborative with clients, fostering a confident and involved experience in their pet's care decisions.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and guidelines of Vets To Go and the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association to ensure high-quality service and client satisfaction.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice setting.
- Fully licensed Veterinarian in Alberta, registered in good standing with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association.
- Familiarity with Calgary's geography and ability to navigate efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their pets.
- A passion for providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care in a unique setting.
