Job Summary

As a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining the quality of our frozen and dairy products. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning the department to ensure a clean and organized shopping experience for customers.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain product freshness and quality.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and maintain accuracy.
  • Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and maintaining features to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including the area, fixtures, and equipment, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to customer service and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations. You will also need to have basic math skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.60. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
