We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for managing all payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and supporting benefits processing.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Processing: Responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll, while ensuring system functionality and compliance with legislation, internal processes, policies and programs, and payroll best practices.
- Benefits Administration: Administering employee benefits programs, including completing, verifying, and processing forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, employment and medical insurance.
- System Management: Act as the Business Key User (BKU) for the Company's payroll system by ensuring that the payroll system is functioning properly, including regular system verifications and updates to maintain optimal performance.
- Process Improvement: Responsible for various payroll and benefits process improvements.
- Employee Support: Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll and benefits.
- Training and Development: Develop and conduct training sessions for employees and managers on the use of the Company's payroll system, including creating training material and user guides.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Skills: Proven experience with Dayforce HCM, bilingualism (French & English), active member with the Canadian Payroll Association, and holds a CPM or PCP designation.
- Personal Qualities: Self-starter eager to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, able to work independently and meet the set goals, and proven ability to interact with different levels of the organization.
