Job Summary

Fraser Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients in our outpatient clinics and home environment settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of patients and unborn babies, identifying risk factors and developing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interprofessional care teams to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery, including referrals to community agencies as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on health management, prevention, and treatment, including risk factor reduction strategies and emergency management.
  • Document patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with practice standards and Fraser Health procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities, identifying patient care issues and providing input on corrective actions.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Two (2) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area, and completion of post-graduate coursework and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle for business-related purposes as required.
