The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Fitness Instructors to lead various group classes, including Yoga, Portable Equipment, Choreography/Step, Cycle, and Dance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of residents and contribute to the development of high-quality programs and services.

Qualifications
  • Candidates must hold current Group Exercise Leadership Certification (Alberta Fitness AFLCA, Canfit-Pro or equivalent).
  • We are currently looking for candidates with Yoga, Barre, Zumba, and Aquafit certifications.
  • Applicants must hold current CPR certification.
  • Past instructing experience in a group setting is preferred.
  • We are looking for motivated, dependable, positive, and energetic individuals.
Hours of Work

Hours of work are weekday early mornings (5:30 - 6:45 a.m.), mornings (9:00 - 11:00 a.m.), evenings (4:30 - 9 p.m.), and weekends (8:00 - 12:00 p.m.).

Compensation

The hourly wage range for Group/Specialty Fitness Instructors is $30.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Separate wage ranges apply for additional positions, including Aquatics Fitness Instructor, Pilates Instructor, Yoga Instructor, and Zumba Instructor.

Conditions of Employment
  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain/maintain a vulnerable sector police information check.
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of educational and professional credentials.
