Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician II - Assistant with experience to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient dispensary and pharmacy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process refill prescriptions electronically and check voicemail messages
  • Contact prescribers for clarifications and various functions
  • Process invoices from wholesalers and print reports
  • Enter new or changed prescriptions in blister packs
  • Collaborate with the pharmacist on duty to provide efficient dispensary and pharmacy services
Requirements
  • Experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Self-directed with the ability to work independently and collaborate with the pharmacy team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) in good standing
  • Experience in billing and third-party adjudication
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
