Furniture Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Furniture Craftsman to join our team at Whitby Furniture Outlet. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality furniture pieces that meet our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Production: Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made, and bring them to life using your expertise in woodworking and cabinetmaking.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Materials Management: Estimate costs and materials needed for each project, and ensure that they are ordered and delivered on time.
- Repair and Restoration: Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products to meet customer requirements.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent organizational skills.
As a Furniture Craftsman at Whitby Furniture Outlet, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.
Language and Work ConditionsThe primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent. The work hours are 30 hours per week.
