Prestige Vernon Lodge Room Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically fit Room Attendant to join our team at Prestige Vernon Lodge. As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our guests' rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train, seasonal employment, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language required.
