Logistics Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring smooth operations, and driving productivity.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and optimize workflows.
- Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management, transportation, and supply chain management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to improve productivity and quality.
- Coordinate and assign work to staff, and review their progress to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support operational activities.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
- 5-10 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads.
- Physical ability to handle heavy loads, with a maximum weight of 23 kg (50 lbs).
