Job Title: Contract Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at an award-winning Architecture and Design firm in Edmonton. As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of various high-profile projects across multiple sectors.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess an Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification or related Architectural education, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the industry, including 2+ years of contract administration or site work/project coordination for Architectural projects. Familiarity with Revit software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential. The successful candidate will be able to review and mark up shop drawings, possess technical skills as a technologist, and demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Administer all aspects of contract administration, including site visits and liaison with construction managers, owners representatives, general contractors, and their sub-trades.
  • Ensure projects adhere to contract documents and building and safety codes.
  • Collaborate with architects and production teams for change orders, RFIs, and other documentation.
  • Develop and implement contract administration methodologies and policy development.
