About the Role

The Sr. Supervisor, Inventory Management is a critical position within L3Harris Technologies, responsible for overseeing all facets of resource management for a team of material control professionals. This role ensures seamless inventory flow from initial receipt to finished product transfer to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform inventory management decisions, ensuring controls are in place to support corporate policies and procedures.
  • Provide critical financial information related to demand/build, inventory levels, and revenue, driving business growth and optimization.
  • Manage Inventory Control tasks that support CMII, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement processes to reduce inventory levels, leveraging lean manufacturing concepts and best practices.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives related to production control and material handling, driving process excellence.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of material in support of the production build plan, meeting customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the material team to adhere to the inventory cycle count program and year-end WIP counts, maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Establish and evaluate department measures in accordance with QCS (Quality, Cost, and Schedule), driving performance improvement.
  • Ensure the safe storage and control of inventory, adhering to company standards.
  • Manage scrap material and related material control processes, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Operations Management or related field.
  • Proven leadership and supervision experience in a fast-paced materials team environment.
  • CPIM Certification through APICS or equivalent is desired.
  • Experience in Master Scheduling and MRP/ERP systems is highly valued.
