Key Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of individuals designated as Commercial Litigation Support Specialists at Dickinson Wright encompass, but are not limited to:

  1. Drafting legal documents, including court filings, motions, affidavits, and other related materials;
  2. Organizing court appearances and coordinating schedules for Commercial List matters;
  3. Arranging appointments, court hearings, discovery sessions, and mediation meetings;
  4. Effectively liaising with clients to ensure clear communication.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:

  1. A minimum of five to seven years of experience in litigation, bankruptcy, and insolvency practices;
  2. Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Word, ACL, and CaseLines;
  3. Exceptional spelling, grammar, and proofreading capabilities;
  4. Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple cases simultaneously;
  5. Client-centered approach;
  6. Collaborative team member with a constructive attitude;
  7. Competent in handling the administrative demands of legal practices.

Work Environment:

Typical law office setting with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures.
