About the Role

GVR Imports Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Supervisor to join our team. As an Inventory Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate and efficient tracking of inventory levels, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of inventory management staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, sales, and logistics, to ensure seamless inventory management and minimize disruptions.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve inventory-related issues, such as stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and inventory shortages.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular inventory management reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Green Job: This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
