Bakery Team Member

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bakery Team Member to join our team at Thanks A Latte Ltd. as a Pastry Chef Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced pastry chefs in preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Assist in preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Material Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient baking process.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing improvements as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Will train.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
