Job Title: General Labourer

We are seeking a skilled General Labourer to join our team at McCain Foods (Canada) in Grand Falls. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our potato grading process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the total weight of samples collected from potato trucks using a weigh scale and record the data.
  • Process samples and record data such as tuber count, average length, average width, and colour sampling.
  • Comply with HACCP rules and regulations, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Attend team meetings as required and participate in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or GED is considered an asset.
  • Previous experience in all aspects of potato grading or general labouring is an asset.
  • Excellent attendance and safety record, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work shifts on a rotating basis and physically perform all job duties, including lifting up to 35 pounds.
